WHO WE ARE
The Lakes Community Church is a new church in the Chain of Lakes area. The church is sponsored by Libby Baptist Church and the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, that eternal life is offered as a free gift from God to man and can be received only through faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and God the Son. We believe also that once a person has received Christ as Saviour that he/she will willingly receive water baptism and nurture a desire to serve Him in and through the life of His local church.
WHERE WE ARE
The church now meets in the large lodge of the Thompson Lake Baptist Camp located ½ mile south of US Hwy 2 on ACM Road South. The ACM Road is between mile markers 75 and 76 of US Hwy 2. The large lodge is located on the east side (the lake side) of the ACM Road.
SERVICES
Weekly services are at 6:00 p.m. each Sunday. Currently the focus of study is a basic survey of the Bible. The survey is now in the beginning of the New Testament and will end sometime during the winter months. The order of service consists of prayer, worship music and concludes with the Bible study. A time of fellowship is enjoyed following the service.
